Tom Hsieh

Tom Hsieh is the CEO and President of AC Martin, where he leads an integrated team of architectural professionals focusing on addressing the challenges and needs of the community through the design of the built environment.  As a member of the firm’s executive management team, Tom provides high level leadership to the firm’s planning, architecture, and interiors practices by driving long-range strategy; creating a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusivity; pushing sustainable and innovative thinking; building new markets; and guiding the company to thrive in changing conditions. Tom’s 25 years of architectural experience includes the design and management of major projects in a wide variety of market sectors.  His tenure with the company and personal involvement in projects has led to some of the most innovative solutions to building and planning code limitations in Los Angeles.  Working with some of the nation’s top institutions and private developers, Tom has designed projects which have received industry awards in design, innovation, and sustainability. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Civil Engineering, and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington.
