AC Martin designed the Studio Arts/Dance & Drama Building at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). This 40,000 SF building brings together a variety of Fine Art Department functions, including: a black box theater, state-of-the-art computer imaging studio, sculpture and fabrication shop, exhibition gallery, undergraduate and graduate art studios, voice and speech studios. The four-story studio wing is linked to the one-story performance wing via a delightful glass covered arcade.
The location of the Studio Arts Building implements a new visual and pedestrian gateway into and through the UCI Fine Arts Village.
